AT5107 Access Control Tag

The AT5107 Access Control Tag is a radio frequency (RF) field disturbance device used only in applications with the Amtech® brand Smart Pass® integrated reader systems.

The AT5107 encodes the signal received from a SmartPass reader with an identification number or a data message.  The encoded signal is reflected (backscattered) back to the SmartPass reader.

The AT5107 can be read by AI1600 series readers.

Features

• Stores up to 10 six-bit alphanumeric characters of data (60 bits), factory programmed as specified.
• Can be programmed to emulate Wiegand access control cards using 26- to 54-bit Wiegand formats.
• Average tag life of 10 years under continuous use.  Battery life not affected by the number of times the tag is read or by RF fields from other sources.
• Energized by a small lithium battery, compliant wit U.S. DOT 49 CFR § 173.206(f) for unrestricted shipping.
