AT5102 Access Control Tag

The AT5102 Access Control Tag is a radio frequency (RF) field disturbance device used only in applications with Amtech® SmartPass® integrated reader systems. 

The AT5102 encodes the signal received from a SmartPass reader system with an identification number or a data message.  The encoded signal is reflected (backscattered) back to the SmartPass reader. 

The AT5102 can be read by AI1600 series readers.

bulletStores up to 10 alphanumeric characters of data (60 bits), factory programmed as specified.
bulletCan be programmed to emulate Weigand access control cards using 26- to 54-bit Weigand formats.
bulletIndefinite service life because circuits are energized by a small portion of the RF signal.
bulletUses the RF beam to energize tag circuitry, which limits tag range.  Reduces competition with other tags in nearby areas and enhances system discretion within 0.6 to 3m (2 to 10 feet) diameter reading areas.
