The SKIDATA™ centralization allows you to carry out central
control, configuration , and
administration tasks at your car parks at the simple touch of a button. This
way, APT 450 helps you to streamline the work process for optimized
profitability.
All system control functions can be executed either from a
stationary Main Administration Centre or a Mobile Control Centre.
Main Control Centre
The Main Control Centre is designed for central control and
monitoring of multiple car parks with the same accuracy and reliability as a
standard Control Centre, but with even greater economic efficiency.

1. Economy
The Main Control Centre not only eliminates the need for local staff, it also
runs independent of locally installed hardware and software. What is more, it
lets you control multiple facilities, even if they are running different system
software. Best of all, there is no need whatsoever for new hardware or updates
during installation.
2. Familiarity
The parking systems of individual car parks are interfaced to the Main Control
Centre by way of conventional network connections (e.g., ISDN, ADSL, DSL,
Ethernet, etc.) at a low, cost-efficient bandwidth (e.g., 64 KB), which helps to
keep monthly fixed costs at an absolute minimum.
3. Stability
The runtime behavior of systems controlled via the Master Control Centre is
exceptionally stable. What is more, each individual car park is equipped with a
separate Administration Unit and Control Centre that allows it to be operated
independent of the Master Control Centre.
4. Efficiency
Optimized specifically for event-controlled work processes, the Main Control
Centre automatically displays a pop-up message whenever a system event occurs.
In addition, the Main Control Centre provides full support for team-based
working environments. As soon as an incoming event is being dealt with by an
operator, all other operators with an on-line connection to the Main Control
Centre are notified accordingly. As a result, redundancies in the overall
workflow are eliminated.
Configuring the system for part-time centralization in
accordance with a schedule is no problem either. For example, individual car
parks can be administered locally via the Control Centre during the day and
switched to the Main Control Centre for central administration overnight. The
Main Control Centre then monitors and controls all car parks of the operator,
which means a considerable reduction in staff cost.
5. Multi-functionality
As the CCTV and intercom systems are fully integrated into the Parking System,
video and intercom connections can be established automatically as needed.
6. Security
Each operator can be assigned individual privileges, and all user activities are
logged to curb any possible misuse.
7. Ease of use
All devices are clearly indicated on the screen to provide operators with a full
system overview at a glance while allowing for ergonomic device control.

Mobile Control Centre
The Mobile Control Centre allows for mobile control of

or similar devices. A fast, device-independent dial-up connection to the Parking
System allows operators to react to system events without delay.

The Main Administration Unit allows for central
configuration of a potentially unlimited number of local parking facilities.
