Surface/Wall Mounted Reader 7005-116
Operational
- Accepts Identification badge, membership card or other documents with
a thickness up to 1/8" (3.2mm).
- Card status indicated by red and green lights on the front of the
read head.
- An infrared sensor reads the barcoded information on a card as it is
swiped through the channel.
- Swipe reader allows for various barcode placement locations on a
card.
- Various systems functions can be activated by the direction in which
the card is read through swipe read head channel.
- Connects to BarLock™ processor for power, operations and programming.
Barcodes
- ICI's proprietary facility code, or industry standard codes as
specified by the BarLockTM processor manuals.
LED Indications
- Green Light - Card has been read, decoded and is valid at the reader
or the system.
- Red & Green Lights - Card could not be decoded.
- Red Light - Card has been read, decoded and is voided, incorrect code
type has been used or the card is disabled at the processor or system.
- Red Light blinking - In alarm mode and alarm is armed.

- H-3.28" x W-2.35" x D-1.535" (8.5 cm x 6 cm x 3.89cm).
- 3/4" (1.9cm) depth height from mounted surface.
- Designed for surface mount installations - no need for electrical
back box if building codes allow for this installation.
Electrical
- Power (8VDC, 100mA) supplied by BarLock™ Processor - BLP 200 series
processor.
- Read head cable can be extended to 200' (60m) maximum distance from
the processor.
- Reader supplied with 10' (3m) Read head cable assembly.
- Read head cable - 22#, 6 conductor, twisted, shielded, stranded.

- Temperature -4° to +122°F (-20° to +50°C).
- Designed for indoor and outdoor applications.
- Sealed construction and gasket design for use in outdoor situations
when installed per specifications.
