Models 1601, 1602, 1100
DoorKing's Models 1601 and 1602 parking gate operators use an all
solid state microprocessor control board to eliminate troublesome relays and limit
switches. Magnets mounted on the output shaft activate a magnetic sensor providing
unique non-mechanical maintenance free limits. The operator was designed so that all
the electronics are mounted high in the cabinet to protect them from possible water
damage. The motor and gear box assembly are mounted low so that the operator is not
top heavy. The battery backup drive system (optional on 1601 only) automatically
raises the arm during power outages. The 1601 operator can be ordered with a wood or
PVC arm, while the 1602 uses a three piece 20 foot wood arm in a wishbone
configuration. Folding arm kits are available for both the wood and plastic arm used
on the 1601. For extreme climatic conditions (hot or cold), fan and heater kits are
available. The Gate Tracker™ output allows the 1601 and 1602 to communicate
with an 1815, 1817, or 1818 access system to generate gate operator activity reports.
