Continuous back-up power for vehicular gate operator systems The model 2000 Power Inverter is designed to provide backup power for a complete access control system when primary (AC) power fails. The system acts as a power distribution panel during normal (AC) operation, and supplies backup power to the load during power outages. This ensures a completely operable access control system and is ideal for apartment complexes, gated communities or in any other application where maintaining the access control system is critical. Notes- A maximum of six operators can be powered from the Model 2000 Inverter systems, provided that the maximum wattage and amperage requirements do not exceed what the power inverter ratings.
- Wattage ratings are typically located on the operator label. If not, use the wattage rating located on the motor label.
- If wattage rating cannot be found, use the formula: P = I x E. (P=Power in watts; I=Current in amps; E=Voltage).
- The amount of time that the Model 2000 can power a system is determined by many factors including; number of operators being powered, amount of usage, amperage draw of each operator, size of batteries, wire size, wire run distance, temperature, etc.
