Our batteries are valve-regulated and employ spill-proof construction. No special handling is required. Life expectancy under normal operating conditions is four to five years (200-1000 charge/discharge cycles depending on the average depth of discharge).
Battery cases are constructed of impact-resistant, non conductive ABS plastic, styrene or polypropylene (used in larger batteries). All of these materials have a high resistance to shock, vibration, chemicals and heat. These materials, plus state-of-the-art design techniques and high quality plate production process translate to extremely high energy densities with superior power to volume and power to weight ratios.
A low self-discharge rate means that fully charged batteries can be stored for up to a year at room temperature before recharging is required. The operating discharge temperature range is -40 degrees Centigrade to +60 degrees Centigrade (-40 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The operating charging temperature range is from -20 degrees Centigrade to 50 degrees Centigrade (4 degrees Fahrenheit to 122 degrees Fahrenheit).
