HID offers a wide range of magnetic strip readers fully equipped with both Clock-and-Data and Wiegand outputs. Combination readers read both magnetic strop and proximity cards, providing a seamless technology migration path from magnetic stripe to proximity.
Wiegand technology is widely recognized and field proven for over 18 years. The cards and readers are low cost and durable, with a high level of security.
HID's Mifare products are MIFARE compliant and come equipped with a wealth of features, including securely separated files for complex applications, mutual authentication, data encryption, and electronic purse functions.
AWID Proximity Cards
Standard "clamshell" style proximity badge, credit card sized with beveled edges, pre-punched in portrait orientation, accepts "photo-flap" and self-adhesive badge overlays.
Graphics quality prox card, ISO compliant thickness for badging, graphics quality on both sides, portrait or landscape punch capability, no diminished read range, available with magnetic stripe (GRMAG).
Key tag designed to fit on key ring or chain, stylish tear drop design, achieves 75 percent read range of cards, ABS construction for high endurance.
Indala Proximity Cards
The Indala Flex Card proximity card is "credit card" size, features beveled edges, and at a thickness of only 0.065 inches (1.8mm), is one of the thinnest proximity cards of its kind available.
Flexible and light enough to be carried in a purse or wallet, the card can also accept photo-flap and direct-print adhesive back ID badge overlays.
The Indala Flex SO proximity card is truly a "credit card" thin access credential, and is ISO 7813 compliant with a nominal thickness of 0.03 inches ((0.76mm).
The Flex ISO has the ability to contain multiple ID technologies in a single credential. It is also available with a magnetic stripe for use with other systems such as cafeteria vending, copy machines and fuel dispensing.
Digital photos and graphics can be printed directly over the Flex ISO's front surface by using a dye-sublimation printer. Barcodes can be imaged into the card for systems tracking time-and-attendance for job costing.
